    "My Friend, Max Hate" is a powerful new PSA that tells the story of a young boy’s descent into misogyny after being influenced by harmful online ideologies. This campaign shines a light on the “manosphere”—a network of online communities promoting hateful rhetoric—and its role in grooming young men and boys. Our goal is to equip parents, educators, and communities with the tools to recognize early signs of online radicalization and prevent the spread of gender-based violence.

  • White Ribbon Presents: A Conversation and Performance with Joshua Hopkins

    White Ribbon hosted an unforgettable event featuring Joshua Hopkins, a JUNO Award-winning and Grammy-nominated baritone, who shared his personal connection to gender-based violence through Songs for Murdered Sisters. This powerful musical tribute, created in collaboration with Margaret Atwood and Jake Heggie, honors the memory of his sister, Nathalie Warmerdam, and all victims of gender-based violence.

    Attendees experienced a deeply moving performance and conversation about healing, allyship, and the role men and boys play in ending gender-based violence.

As hate, violence, and transphobia continue to rise, this campaign highlights the intersection of gender-based violence and transphobia, urging men and boys to become allies in fostering a more inclusive world.

    White Ribbon’s I Knew All Along is a powerful short film that follows a father’s anxieties around raising a daughter, leading him to reflect on his past and recognize his own problematic behavior toward women. This campaign shines a light on the deep-seated gender norms that perpetuate harm and explores how men can break the cycle by embracing vulnerability, challenging sexism, and fostering healthier masculinities.
